Parts IV - VII: Putting Pieces Together


Make it Godot!

So, over the weekend I spent alot of time crunching my assets into Godot, and building scripts and nodes to flesh out some of the basic gameplay features.

So far I have implemented:

  1. A host of player states/mechanics
  2. Basic music/audio management
  3. Some basic level tools and transitions
  4. A couple of simple enemies

Next Steps

Now that I have the game "working" I intend to implement some of the game jam theme magic - some time based mechanics - and see if I can tie those into a few basic challenges to start.

I will be focusing not only on the time mechanic, but some tutorial elements for the introductory scenes of the game as well.
