Datacombs

Datacombs is a 3D Map editing utility for use with tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder. The app is in an early alpha phase, and includes the following basic functionality:

• Draw Grass, Dirt and Wood Plank tiles
• Add plants/trees, rocks and some basic props - one prop or item per tile
• Draw basic house walls/structures
• Draw on up to 10 layers
• One basic map tileset/theme

Plans for the Future

I plan to work on more features in the future. Some of the current features under development include:

• Broader selection of brush tiles and props
• Multiple wall styles
• Improved tool useability and functionality
• Improved and expanded layer controls
• Improved Camera controls
• Optional Orthographic camera mode
• Time of Day, and sunlight color control

Future big features will include a play mode where you can use created maps either on a table Screen with your own tokens, or on a regular screen with digital tokens.
